Also known as the Northeast, the left coast, Chicago, Detroit and Canadians.....

Talking about reopening their states?

Didn't they get the memo?

There's only one plausible explanation. The polls are changing and their political aspirations are fading

You see, it's nothing above love

They overplayed their hand, and now their media will start calling the reopening a brilliant move by the "defiant" governors as they give them cover for their retreat

Just some political posturing and fighting to keep the masses entertained

I wouldn't read too much into it

oh boy, create your opposition and attack it, nice

You say it's posturing, I say things are going to open up quicker than they're admitting. I doubt that will be May 1st

When will it be?

From your OP it did sound like you thought sooner than a month, why I said a near date

Media doesn't matter anymore. Trump got elected in spite of them and Hollywood. He overcame all of that and has only gotten stronger. The Dems nominated the only person in the world who Trump could beat in 2016 and now we get another gift in Joe Biden...the face of change?. Trump is protected against an economic downturn which was the only potentail negative bump as no one will blame him for the virus. Who could Biden possibly pick for VP that would make a difference? He might as well pick Stacey Abrams.

While the media and their followers mock Trump and any of us who talk about reopening the economy, as seen on this very forum, democratic governors are talking about reopening the economy. You really don't see the irony?

When do I think? Some states by May 1, most if the country by June 1, with schools opening the next academic year.

High risk demographics will be advised to self isolate a while longer. Sporting events may not gave fans. Testing vastly expanded, vaccine soon.

He mocks himself

Look at this for Christ sakes

"U.S. produced dramatically better health outcomes than any other country with the possible exception of Germany."

- President Trump on coronavirus.

Cmon Willy...Trump was the first to mention he wanted certain states open and get the economy running....Hannity and his followers even wanted that...Trump has laid the trap and now has told us it is the governors who want to open....Now whatever happens, Trump will take no blame for whatever happens the next week....especially if some people start rioting and protesting in the streets....if everything goes well, he will say he orchestrated it.....Trump let his three part plan out knowing what was going to follow....all these politicians are weasels....

Trump was universally criticized by your media my friend, yet now democratic governors are saying the same thing

Is that not a valid statement?

Do you think their tone is changing?

If yes, then why?

We're all in this together

You are right, we are all in this together....

But somebody is going to want to take all the credit for getting us past this pandemic....who do you think will speak first?
Or if things go south after opening the economy, who will speak up first and lay the blame?

Willy, I think we both know the answers....

VD, that's not the intended topic of my OP, but that blame vs credit game has being going on forever. The Democrats have always enjoyed a huge advantage with the media carrying their narrative for them. Whatever the topic, whatever the message, the truth doesn't matter, our media is part of the democratic party.

Trump has used Twitter to mitigate that advantage, arguably to a fault sometimes, but it works for him.

Because he exposes their lies and their hypocrisy, they're more hateful and angry than ever

He's leveling the playing field

Willie, would you be surprised if you found out some Democratic lawmakers have paid certain journalists to place stories?

Trump’s words and twitters are going to cause civil unrest in the streets in the next 30 days.....will the carnage be added to the Corona numbers?

These protests are not the answer.....somebody has to step up and lead.....wonder who it will be?
